18 months old!

Corinne is an amazing little girl!
Her favorite number is 2.  It's the only number she actually says and she wants at least 2 of everything.  However, there are sooo many words she can say and says a lot!  She will try to pronounce almost anything you ask her to say.
Some of her favorite words are her colors, which is how she identifies many things.  She knows: pink, purple, blue, aqua, green (geen), yellow (da-go), orange (on-ja), red (yed), and black.  She also knows some shapes: circle, oval, square, star, triangle; yet, she can only say circle (kur-kel) and oval.
Words she uses together include: I got you!, apple juice, I don't know (as she bounces her hands, palms up, up and down), all done, all gone and my turn.
Corinne is also getting pretty good at using the big girl potty.  She tells us when she needs to use it and we hurry off to the bathroom.  Some days are better than others, so we still need the diapers or pull-ups.
In the last month we have had a few "firsts".  She stayed with a "babysitter" for the first time.  Well, a neighbor (a grandmother) came over after she went to bed, so that Scott and I could go out for dessert on our wedding anniversary.  Then, two days later, she went to a friend's (Olive's) "to play" while Scott and I went to dinner (Well, actually we stayed home, but we did eat dinner.  This was the first time we had the house to ourselves since she was born.  It was a relaxing 2 hours).  Both events went very well.
